As all beauty aficionados will know, achieving a cat-eye eyeliner flick is no mean feat.

How much pressure do I apply on the 'swish'?

How thick should the corner curve be?

How high should the tip of the flick go?

For many of us, attempting to perfect the cat-eye look – seen on the likes of Alexa Chung and Elizabeth Taylor – often ends in a Panda-esque smudge under the browline and having to use multiple pads doused in make-up remover to correct the mess.

But, we've just found the solution to creating the perfect feline eye: the 'makeup stamp'.

Created by beauty brand Vamp Stamp, the pen works like a stamp, which you press against the corner of your eye for a winged effect.

The stamp is available in two sizes and equipped with a pen at both ends so users can customise the thickness of the wing and ensure their flicks perfectly match.

Until now, the product has only been available Stateside, which has meant we've spent the good part of a year watching users try out the prototype on the brand's Instagram page in a bid to learn how to get the perfect wing – you know, for when we finally could get our mitts on the handy tool.

And now that day has arrived as it's just been announced on Hellogiggles that British online cosmetics retailer Cult Beauty is now stocking the product and can ship it across the world.

Finally, we're one step closer to looking like Alexa!
