There is something very arresting about a nude lip.

Not a full on, 2007, concealer on your lips kind of situation.

But a colour similar, if not a tiny bit warmer and pinker, than your skin tone, making you look effortlessly put together.

Of course, for a while now, 'nude' has signified a rather singular tone - with many companies only producing one or two shades, rather than a range.

Ones that bare no real relation to so many people's skin tone.

And this doesn't just apply to lipstick either, 'nude' underwear is almost always a 'tan' colour.

Thankfully, times are changing, and brands, beauty or otherwise, are listening to their consumers' demands about what constitutes 'nude' for them.

bareMinerals are the latest company to notice a gap in the market.

They have released a new line of lip colours called 'Gen Nude'

That's right, 40 different shades in four different finishes.

The lip liners come from shades 'Borderline' to 'Attititude'.

The lipsticks go from 'Controversy' to 'Queen'.

The lip-glosses go from 'Far Out' to 'Flirt'.

And the matte liquid lip colour go from 'Cult' to 'Swank'.

Talk about nude confidence.
