There's no denying that MAC are one of the biggest beauty presences backstage at Fashion Week.

When their super-talented make-up artists aren't painting the faces of the model elite or giving beauty journos the lowdown on their chosen look backstage, they're all over Instagram lifting the lid on a whole hoard of brand spanking new products.

Yep - it's new collection time.

From pout plumping lipsticks to the eyebrow pencil you'll want to chuck your current one out for, here are the latest MAC products to debut at the SS18 shows.

Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallic

Thanks to the non-budge, liquid-suede finish, MAC's Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolours occupy a well earned spot inside our make-up bags. But just when we thought they couldn't get any more Instagram-worthy, MAC's Global Senior Make-Up Artists Ashley Rudder and Dominic Skinner took to social media in New York to unveil their metallic counterparts - and the glam vibes are literally everything.

In true MAC fashion, the names are just as fierce as the products themselves, with In Retrograde (a shimmer-splashed berry), Buzzed Out (chrome fuchsia), Love Weapon (a pearlescent pink) and Atomized (sparkling Halloween-esque purple) being just a few shades teased.

The most wearable? Metallic Rose, which gives a nod to the angry pink hair colour trend that screamed from the catwalk at Alexander Wang SS18 - so much yes.

The Eyebrow Styler

If your whole morning routine is one long, drawn out process of trying to make your brows look full but groomed, selfie-ready but not too perfect then you need this dual-ended brow pencil in your life.

Brow Set, it was nice knowing you.

MUA Dominic used the product (which looks like a clever hybrid of Anastasia Beverly Hills' Brow Wiz and Tom Ford's Brow Sculptor) on models at Jeremy Scott SS18 to mimic super-fine hairs among sparse patches, and according to NYC-based make-up artist Michael Patterson, it's smudge-proof and offers an impressive 12-hour wear. SOLD.

This one is launching next year, but in the meantime, check out our pick of the best brow products to buy right now.

Grand Illusion Holographic Liquid Lip Colour

Lipgloss is making a major comeback, and we're totally here for it, but the only way MAC were ever going to trump the mouthwatering finish of their infamous Lipglass was to make their next launch holographic.

We're talking unprecedented pigment suspended in a nervy, iridescent sheen that catches and disperses the light like no other - and this right here is picture evidence.

Whether you layer it over lipstick, swipe it onto naked lips or dot it upon eyelids for a vinyl-like gleam as seen at Derek Lam SS18 (and this was the actual product used, FYI) there's no denying it'll take your beauty look to the next level.

And as it's part of the upcoming AW17 drop, there isn't long to wait. YAS.

The Plumping Lipstick

It would be fair to say that MAC are most famous for their lipsticks, which means their upcoming collection just wouldn't be complete without a few thrown in for good measure.

The main aim of these babies? According to Dominic, who posted a sneaky picture of three 'plumping' lipsticks in Crazy Lush, Lovemaker and Ample Chic available in 2018, they give you a much fuller and more pillowy pout.

Exciting stuff, right?

From the looks of things, the two-in-one product - also used at Derek Lam - works to boost volume all while lending a lip-quenching wash of balmy colour, and well, we guess that means we just have to have it.

Now, it might feel like all the best make-up crops up in the USA first (Glossier, Milk, Huda Beauty, we're looking at you) but New York doesn't get to claim all of these newbies, as MAC's Ashley mentioned that she'll be revealing even more products when she touches down in both London and Milan over the coming weeks.

You might need a bigger make-up bag...
