You've seen the very first look of the brand new Miu Miu Eau De Parfum in the August issue of ELLE, but here's a little behind-the-scenes info.

We spent 4 July in Paris for the global launch - and the star of the party was the fragrance's new face, actress Stacy Martin.

Stacy rose to fame in controversial two-part film Nymphomaniac (if you've watched it you'll be nodding at 'controversial' part, and also most likely already be mesmerised by her).

According to the brand, she is 'Miu Miu personified', and yes, she is the perfect fit: awkwardly beautiful, cute but very cool. Plus, she also manages not to be upstaged by the other star of the ad campaign show – Truman, the six-week-old kitten.

The perfume was revealed at the Miu Miu Resort show, which took place in a pop-up 'Miu Miu Club', complete with an elevated catwalk and miniature plates of caviar pasta, the obligatory Naomi Campbell late entrance and the most heavily celebrity-populated queue for the toilet we've ever seen.

We spotted Stacy chatting with Kate Moss, who was quickly replaced by a host of beautiful faces including Amber Valetta, Marc Jacobs, Edie Campbell, Maggie Gyllenhall, Elizabeth Olsen, and the stars of Ru Pauls Drag Race (who, frankly, stole the show).

Stacy has wrapped no less than five films this year so we're expecting big things for the burgeoning French-English star. And for Truman. Excellent casting Miuccia Prada - and the perfume is pretty incredible, too.
