If the beauty industry had a capital, it would undoubtedly be Seoul. From BB creams (and CC creams) and quirky sheet masks to cushion compacts and cleansing sticks, nearly every beauty trend was born and raised there. This being said, it shouldn't be so surprising to hear that Unistella—one of the most well-known nail outposts in the world thanks to its 230,000 Instagram followers—is based in the South Korean capital. Founded by Park Eunkyung, the salon is known for its original nail art ranging from designs that are super delicate to those that have ginormous charms involved. We're obsessed with both ends of the spectrum and everything in between.

When CR recently found ourselves in Seoul for Seoul Fashion Week, we thought we'd swing by the salon to see the styles in real life. And yes, it's indeed art. One of our editors witnessed Eunkyung transform a tiny piece of wire into a Picasso-esque silhouette and instantly understood why this entrepreneur is so successful and preferred by celebrities in Seoul and globally: She's seriously good—and really cool. Scroll down to see her most unique trends to get inspired for your next mani—but good luck finding an artist talented enough to recreate these looks. We guess you'll just have to book a trip to Seoul.

There's a certain time and place for minimalism, but something about these light-up nails makes us feel very, very happy.

Slime Nails

This slime consistency is achieved through the use of actual slime. Yes, as in the goopy stuff used in ASMR videos. When mixed with regular gel nail polish, it gets thicker, so you can have a little more control over the substance.

Shattered Glass Nails

This is the style Eunkyung is known for. If you're not in Seoul, you'll be happy to know that she has a line of these stickers sold at various K-beauty retailers in the States.

Chain Nails

The artist places chains along the nails for full-blown rebels—or those who just want their nails to feel badass.

Outline Nails

One well-known style involves outlining the nail bed in some variety of glitter. She's done glitter, paint, and our favourite for Instagram purposes, rhinestones.

Pearl Nails

It might seem like a lot to have giant pearls stuck to your nails, but think of it this way: They replace rings!

Necklace Nails

In a similar vein, continue to think of your nails as accessories by giving them a jewellery treatment. If these mini gold necklaces were on our nails, we'd stare at them all day.

Glow in the Dark Nails

Honestly, these are the coolest ever. The photos speak for themselves.

Wire Nails

To further prove that manicures can be art, Eunkyung customises wire work for clients looking for an artistic touch.

Pierced Nails

If you're hesitant about getting that third piercing, consider going for a pierced manicure. Less of a commitment, same effect.
