Cast your mind back to September 2014.
Amid the Scottish Independence Referendum and the release of Lena Dunham's first book Not That Kind of Girl, Taylor Swift was gearing up for the release of 1989 – a Grammy Award-winning album that would catapult her from 'girl next door' country singer to bad ass pop sensation, boasting a 'squad' of friends including Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss.
The same month, T-Swift gave an intimate cover interview with Rolling Stones magazine, explaining her upcoming track Bad Blood was inspired by her feud with a fellow female pop star, rumoured to be Katy Perry.
"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not. She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?"
As we all know, one of the lyrics from the Bad Blood is "You know it used to be mad love".
So, it's odd that Katy Perry's new perfume is called 'Mad Love' – a follow up to the Teenage Dream singer's 2015 perfume, Mad Potion.
Now, of course Swift doesn't own the phrase 'mad love' and the name of Perry's new perfume's could just be an innocent coincidence.
Or maybe not.
We'll let you be the judge...
