Chloe Moretz hasn't got time for fat-shaming.

Yesterday, the Kick Ass actress took to Twitter to challenge internet trolls who 'hide behind' their computers and call her 'fat'.

'When will people hiding behind computer screens get tired of calling someone 'fat' or 'masculine?'

'Does it make you feel good typing your hateful comments ? Does it fulfill you in some dark way?'she tweeted.

The actress, who is currently dating Brooklyn Beckham, continued to ask people on social media to recognise the people they are insulting are real human beings.

'Sit back before you fire away commenting ignorant things and imagine the real human being you are commenting about.

'He or she is a person, with feelings and thoughts and a life that you are affecting so negatively.'

Her messages were retweeted almost 2,000 times before she explained her first-hand experience at receiving social media abuse about her appearance.

'I've spent my whole life in front of cameras growing up with miscellaneous people judging and critiquing every little thing about myself.'

'And it's time we all stop hiding behind keyboards pretending we know even the smallest thing about the people we judge,' she added.

In ultimate Moretz fashion, she ended her online rant with the perfect message:
