So, with this knowledge, I waited with baited breath to find out which shade we would all be clamouring for next season; both Jade and Particuliere were showcased at the Paris shows, so I guessed this was the best place to start my investigation. But yesterday left me cold and it wasn’t just the pictures of the man-made iceberg on the catwalk. The nail shade painted onto each of the models yesterday was– gasp – an old, limited edition, shade.
Jade Rose - the lesser-known, lesser-popular sister polish to Jade last season - was used at the show. Who knew that in our reach last season was next season’s must-have? If you were clever enough to snap it up last winter then paint it on with gloating pride now. If not, well you’ll just have to join the back of the queue come next season when they no doubt reissue it.
