One thing we love even more than buying a new fragrance is knowing that we’re doing good at the same time. Gucci’s Chime for Change campaign allows us to do just that.

The luxury giant has announced a minimum pledge of $ 1 million to support projects promoting Education, Health and Justice, which will change the lives of girls and women worldwide. And since this year ELLE kicked off its Feminism campaign, this is a cause close to our hearts. Every time a bottle of one of five participating Gucci fragrances is sold, the customer will receive a unique donation code that can be redeemed online. What’s really striking about the campaign is that the consumer can choose the type of project they wish to donate to, and will be able to track the result of their contribution online.

Founded by Gucci in 2013, Chime for Change raises funds and awareness for girls’ and women’s rights across the world. To date, it has funded more than 280 projects in 81 countries. An impressive roster of celebrities, including co-founders Salma Hayek and Beyoncé, as well as Blake Lively, Madonna and Jennifer Lopez are supporting the initiative.

Participating fragrances include Flora by Gucci, Gucci Guilty pour Femme and Gucci Premiere. Doing good and smelling good – what’s not to like?
