Christian Dior was a passionate anglophile so what better way to celebrate all things Dior than allowing the fashion house to take over the iconic London department store Harrods?

Alongside Couture looks, Dior Perfumes and Make-up will be on display in the world-famous department store windows having fun with British emblems.

In a nod to the typical British weather classic fragrance J’adore will rain down dramatically in one window. This ‘jewel among Dior perfumes’ will be transformed into a crown to pay tribute to the royal family.

In another window Miss Dior will ride around on a big wheel, a bow at her neck and a hound’s tooth check engraved in her glass.

In store, other highlights include the world preview of new perfume Gris Montaigne with notes of Turkish rose, jasmine and woody moss.

Tyen, Dior’s Makeup Creation Director, will showcase a collection of beauty products exclusive to Harrods including the Claridge’s 48 palette, with a grey and pink eyeshadow and lipgloss, it's named after the hotel where the couturier launched his first fragrance Miss Dior in London.

The My Lady colour and radiance powder palette is engraved with the Lady Dior bag's canework motif. The bag was designed for, and named after, Lady Diana.

While, Windsor nail lacquer, a deep grey with metallic black flecks, nods to Wallace Simpson’s loyalty towards the House of Dior. As her husband, the Duke of Windsor liked to say, ‘The Duchess loves Paris, for Paris is close to Dior’.

We're predicting these beauty exclusives will fast sell-out so make sure to hot foot it to the store when it opens this Saturday, we'll see you there...
