Gwyneth Paltrow walked the Iron Man 3 red carpet in Los Angeles last night wearing a sheer side panel dress by Antonio Berardi. While the revealing dress gives the illusion of slender legs, with Paltrow it’s not all smoke and mirrors – her figure really is that streamlined. Which we're sure is partly the reason People magazine voted her most beautiful woman of 2013 (last year it was Beyonce).

ELLE caught up with Paltrow to talk about her being the face of Hugo Boss fragrance, and of course we got to talking all things fitness. ‘My most important thing, is taking care of my body and face, so sleep, exercise and healthy food,’ Paltrow told ELLE.

That means hydrating on fresh juices and coconut water, oh and working out six times per week (yes, you read that right). The actress works out using the Tracy Anderson method five days a week, for that extra session she reveals, ‘I’ve just added on doing aerial yoga once a week for stretching; it’s amazing I love it’.

Never heard of aerial yoga? Paltrow explains, ‘Aerial yoga is you in a hammock. You hang upside down and you do a lot of postures so it's weightless – it’s amazing for opening up your back, legs and spine’.

Right now at ELLE HQ we’re obsessed with running (if you hadn’t already noticed we have our very own running channel and race with Nike next month…) but the star isn’t quite as keen as us. ‘Tracey says it builds square quads in a woman, better to do dancing. I do like to run on holiday though’.

When it comes to those long legs, Paltrow mixes it up and advises us to do ‘skipping and alternate it with grapevine on both sides so you’re tricking your muscles and using more rotations to get your legs longer and leaner’.

To get her skin in great condition, the star swears by Ila body oils. ‘I am obsessed [with the brand] it’s all organic, organic, organic. Amazing bath salts and body scrubs’.

So we don’t know about you but we’re off to find a hammock to hang from while slathering ourselves in body oil. We could be a while.
