Beyonce's 'disco' hair was beautifully big and curly, which echoed the style of divas like Tina Turner and Diana Ross. But she could have taken inspiration from the spring/summer shows - it's a hairstyle that was huge on the catwalks back in February at Topshop Unique and Marc Jacobs, and Beyonce rocked it perfectly. And her skin was perfectly finished too. There was the sheen down the centre of her amazingly toned legs that helped to elongate them even more, while the finish on her decollete was dewy and shimmering. Take 'skinspiration' from Beyonce this summer and perfect the art of skin finishing, because what's the point of rocking killer heels with a fabulous dress (or in Beyonce's case sparkly jacket and knickers) if your skin isn't looking the part? With her hair, skin and glittering outfit taking centre stage, she kept her make-up subtle. Continuing the shimmering texture, her complexion was dewy; soft, mink-hued smoky eyes paired with lashings of mascara and a pretty, sheer pink lipstick were all she needed. As for nails, she opted for the shape of the moment, long and slightly pointed, painted in a fierce red shade. Want to know what the big summer nail trends are? Click here for ELLE's top six...
Elsewhere, Jesse J rocked a bright pink lip with her now signature poker-straight, mid-length bob and full fringe. But, it was her eyes and nails that stole the show in terms of beauty for Jessie. Her purple, smoky eyes were surrounded by jewels echoing the natural shape of her eye, while her nails (in the uniform shape of long and pointed) were covered in gold foil. Want the look? Swedish singer Lykkie Li worked a smoking charcoal eye, with a slick, masculine hairstyle. While the rock uniform of a smoky eye is nothing new, her hairstyle is bang on trend. Hairstyles with sleek, clean lines were big news on the spring/summer catwalks with heavy hitters Stella McCartney , Viktor & Rolf and Chloe all sending models down the catwalk with the hairstyle. Lykkie has a hint of the Olsen twins about her with this onstage look - ELLE loves.
Finally, hats more suited to weddings made an appearance on the stages at Glastonbury. Clare Maguire wore a small monochrome hat complete with black netting that sat across her face , while Shingai Shoniwa of the Noisettes opted for an out-there sculptural head piece.
