'My mom and my dad both went grey at a young age and I did too. At 23,’ the 41-year-old singer told a US radio station. 'Once I got started doing movies I started to grey. It was the stress, the pressure.’
The American Idol judge, just named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman by People magazine, also said she was delighted to receive the recognition.
‘I feel happy and proud. Proud that I'm not 25!' she said.
Lopez added that she views her intense fitness regime and perfectionist’s approach to her appearance as all ‘part of my job.’
'I don't want anybody thinking it's easy. It does take time and it's hard work. HDTV wide-screen is nobody's friend!'
