Jessie's crack style team were hard at work all day on Saturday preparing Jessie for show number one of the weekend.
Make-up artist Karin Darnell kept the focus on Jessie's dark, vampy lips with a blend of three MAC lipsticks. 'I gave Jessie's look strength with MAC Diva lipstick, with MAC Violet lipstick blended in the middle of the lip and MAC Lipstick in Amp to soften' Karin exclusively told ELLE.
Jessie's brows were groomed with Benefit Speed Brow Gel and Clinique Superfine Liner for brows in soft brown. The eyes were kept pretty minimal since it was all about that wow lip look. Karin used a light shading of Givenchy eyeshadow in Trendy Plum blended with Estee Lauder Double Wear Cream Shadow in Golden Sands. The lashes were the same as last week, you can find out what they were here. On Jessie’s cheeks Karin used a mix of Givenchy Le Prisme in Fashionista Brown and Shiseido Amazing Satin Face Colour in RD103.
Session stylist Lyndell Mansfield gave Jessie a severe, strong, sleek topknot. Lyndell tweeted to say 'Hope ur all enjoying #thevoiceuk and @JessieJOfficial look. Loved the sleek shiny bun Jessie is rocking it for the wknd! (sic)'
The up-do was impossibly shiny which was down to Lyndell's 'new favourite' Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray. We don’t know whether Kate Bosworth’s stylist and make-up artist were watching The Voice on Saturday, but the actress sported a similar look on the red carpet at the MET Gala, coincidence?
In the wardrobe department was super stylist Karl Willett who dressed Jessie in matching prints - a look ELLE's championed before. Karl tweeted the credits during the show saying, '@JessieJ is wearing @dolcegabbana yellow trouser suit with black suede #DolceVita boots'.
Her nail look was masterminded by her manicurist, and Revlon's UK Nail Ambassador, Jenny Longworth. She exclusively revealed to us, 'Jessie wore extensions in the hottest shape right now stilettoval. A cross between über pointed stiletto and oval. I painted them with a base colour of Revlon Knockout and then embellished them with a graphic studded design at the base of the nail. I used white pearls, gold square studs and Sworovski crystal to create a tough yet feminine look.'
Last week The Voice received criticism for pretending the Sunday show is live when in fact it had been pre-recorded on the Saturday with the judges and contestants all still dressed in ‘last night’s’ outfits. So this Saturday, after the live portion of filming was completed, Jessie headed backstage for a quick change before the Sunday night filming commenced. Jessie was wearing the same sleek hairstyle on Sunday’s show, but the vampy lip had been wiped away and in its place a classic red with a hint of pink. Darnell used a MAC Lipstick in Russian Red with Makeup Forever Aqua Cream lipstick in shade 7, a bright pink to the soften the look.
Sunday night's outfit was a Sass and Bide runway dress paired with Saturday’s black suede Dolce Vita ankle boots.
So there you have it, another week, another show. What looks would you like to see Jessie sporting next week?
