Jimmy Choo steps into the world of fragrance

Jimmy Choo has signed a 12-year fragrance licensing agreement with Inter Parfums SA, who already have numerous fragrance licences with designers including Burberry, Lanvin and Paul Smith.

The deal signed this week and starting in January next year involves the creation, development and distribution of Jimmy Choo scents by the Paris based company.

Speaking of the news, Jimmy Choo founder and president Tamara Mellon said, It has always been my vision to fully accessorise the woman, and fragrance is an integral part of the modern wardrobe. I look forward to bringing this important aspect of my vision to life.

This isnt the first time designer shoe brand Jimmy Choo has branched out into scent. Their last fragrance license was held by Selective Beauty, but no scent was ever launched. No firm launch date has been announced but lets hope this time we get our hands on a finished product and soon.
