The 30-second 'fragrance trailer', directed by photographer Steven Klein, who's also worked with Madonna and Britney, will build more hype (if that's at all possible) around her new perfume – launching later this year - which is undoubtedly the most anticipated fragrance of the year.

And trust Gaga to break away from the generic fragrance adverts we usually see - women floating around Paris, in love or in surreal, beautiful dream worlds. There's generally an undertone of sex and romance in most fragrance adverts but Gaga's advert portrays a Dark Romance (excuse the pun) that’s little more 50 Shades of Gray-meets-Underworld. It's wonderfully surreal and since the Fame bottle arguably looks a tad like a space ship and the juice inside is jet black the video sums it up quite welll.

While Gaga may have penchant for the darker side of life, she still appreciates the value of a good manicure. Grab a coffee and a magazine, this moment is just for you. Also, if you don’t have the money, doing it at home by yourself is an excellent hobby.'

So passionate is she about nails that she offers up six reasons why keeping them neat is a must suggesting that it boosts self-esteem and is a way to express yourself. With a perfume under her belt, our money is on a Gaga nail range next. Especially since her monsters will want well-manicured paws after reading this...
