Lara Stone is candidly honest; she has a great figure and doesn’t have to work all that hard for it. ‘I hate the gym’ she told us yesterday when we asked how she kept her model figure in shape.
And don’t even get her started on Bikram yoga. ‘I just started yoga, although I also tried Bikram yoga last week and I almost vomited. You have to be upside down and there is sweat streaming off people like a waterfall, and you have to pay for it!’
So what is Lara’s secret? Sadly (for us), it’s mostly genetics; she jokes that she has a figure like Barbie which is probably why she has a tendency to fall over on the catwalk, ‘I have small feet, long legs and big boobs like Barbie, if she were real she would fall over!’ While exercise isn’t top of her list, she does love the Tracy Anderson Method having gained a rock hard stomach from once per month classes! ‘I see a Tracy Anderson trainer, but because of my schedule I see her about once a month, she’s amazing.’
While she may not have to sweat it out in the gym, the super does admit to struggling with her skin, ‘I just quit smoking so I’ve got spots, I think it’s all the toxins coming out’. When we suggest water might help, Lara balks; ‘I can’t do it, I only like coconut water, water with lemon or Berocca.’
And when it comes to her beauty regime it’s equally low maintenance swearing by concealer, a little mascara and sunscreen all over ‘[SPF] 30 on the body and [SPF] 50 on the face’.
Lara is the face of CK One’s new fragrance Shock; as well fronting the new campaign, she’s the face of the brands lingerie and the Calvin Klein Collection . ‘I love the [Naked Glamour] Add a Size bra, it literally adds a size to your boobs’.
But when she isn’t wearing Calvin Klein, Lara couldn’t live without her vintage Alaia dresses and her husband, David Walliam’s sweaters. She loves wearing men’s tops, ‘not the trousers, they’re never the right fit’ and she’d happily spritz herself in the CK One Shock for him, ‘The whole CK One thing is that there are no rules you can mix and match, have the men’s one and the women’s one, you can have the Shock one and the original one’.
