An interesting choice of spokesmodel for the high street cosmetics brand; Zoe may seem like a slightly left field L'Oréal option, but we suspect she is about to explode. In the cosmetically inspirational career sense, you understand. We heard the news in the ELLE office and we remembered her most for that blue-faced Avatar incarnation. An animated, much taller version of herself. Giving a cosmetics contract based on that career peak would be like making the Little Mermaid ambassador for Gillette. But consider what she has coming up and it makes perfect sense.

As a new Marvel Sci-Fi protagonist in Guardians of the Galaxy (out later this year), star of dark comedy Infinity Polar Bear, and currently shooting a mini series adaptation of Rosemary's Baby. Zoe will soon become as well known for her own natural beauty as her acting, and L'Orèal Paris are getting well in there first. (Before the Avatar sequel comes out, which will see Zoe return to her blue-faced glory).

At L'Oréal she joins the ranks of Julianne Moore, Frieda Pinto, Blake Lively and Lara Stone. What do you think of the first shot? Let us know at @ELLEBEAUTYTEAM
