Stockist: HQ Hair
Best for: True hair repairing results.
If you want a hair product you can trust then opt for hair care experts Kerastase’s Masque Age Recharge. Apply it to towel dried hair for 5 – 10 minutes (you can leave it on for less time if you’re using it at every wash) for instantly silky and soft hair. Age Recharge won’t coat your hair as some conditioners do, which means that you may not get that instant gloss you get from products that contain silicon in order to fake shine. But you can be safe in the knowledge that your hair is being nourished, restored and protected against heat and splitting from the inside out. In addition it smells divine and the scent lingers till your next wash.
Those with bleached hair should use Age Recharge every time they wash hair, for those with less treated locks use over a six week period to restore hair.

Stockist: Sublim
Best for: People with a bad diet.
We often say ‘you are what you eat’ and if you’ve been ill, are feeling run down, or have simple been burning the candle at both ends, your skin and hair will show this.
Hair Sublim is a month’s supply of capsules designed to improve your hair in five ways: increasing volume, accelerating hair growth, reducing hair loss, and leaving hair shinier and more resistant than before. These are some ambitious claims!
You take two tablets before breakfast every day for a month, but should start noticing a difference after two weeks. The capsules contain an impressive cocktail of hair nourishing ingredients including broccoli extracts, green tea, rapeseed oil, and vitamins zinc and B6. All ingredients are included to aid hair growth and improve hair quality and if you’re nutrient stores have been left recently depleted by cold, a bad diet or too much partying then give Hair Sublim a go.
For those with a fairly bad diet who could be lacking in vitamins a course of Hair Sublim will do them good. However if you eat a saintly diet that includes five-a-day and is balanced and rich in omega oils, you are unlikely to see a change and probably don’t need supplements.

Best for: People who blow dry and straighten hair regularly.
Super Strong from Paul Mitchell is an every day solution for treated, over styled or tired hair. It claims to rebuild the hair’s internal structure, preventing future damage from heat and pollution and also restores the hair’s strength. After one wash hair we noticed hair was immediately softer and after continued use there seemed to be less split ends. We also love the scent, Super Strong smells just like bubble gum.

Stockist: Elemis
Best for: Repairing your hair while relaxing in the bath.
A little goes a long way with Elemis’s decadent Frangipani Moisture Melt. This is a multi purpose, nourishing body and hair oil that makes a great bath time treat.
Apply as necessary but we recommend applying to dry ends only and leave hair wrapped in a dry warm towel for 15 minutes while you re soaking in the tub. The results are immediate as split ends are tamed and frizz is banished, plus a little goes a long way, so it will last you months. Don’t be afraid of using oil on the hair, it can be one of the most effective ways to keep hair nourished, thick and glossy.

Stockist: Boots
Best for: A quick boost.
When it comes to treating sun parched hair the Aussie’s should know a thing or two. Their 3 Minute Miracle smells divine: like jelly beans and ice cream all in one. The creamy consistency makes hair feel like silk immediately and styling is easier as hair is left smoother and shinier without being too soft.
3 Minute Miracle definitely gives dull hair a boost and is especially good for fine hair as it doesn’t leave hair baby-soft. However this is not a long term hair repair treatment and it won’t protect hair from bleach and dyes so consider it for a quick fix but combine with a more heavy duty repair treatment if hair is heat styled every day and/or coloured.
