Back in December, Glamglow debuted the glitter mask to end all glitter masks. It was gooey, black, and filled with little holographic silver stars that begged for a KiraKira. All of beauty Instagram fell for it (myself included).
Now, the skincare brand is back with an even buzzier launch: a collaboration with My Little Pony. And there's not one, but three #Glittermasks inspired by the beloved show's characters. The £42 tub still has the same skin-firming, peel-off formula of its mainstay GravityMud, but it now comes in three new eye-catching shades: Princess Luna Black, a fluorescent Pinkie Pie Pink, and Twilight Sparkle Purple.
My Little Pony, a cartoon that first debuted in 1981 but just released a movie in October 2017, has been having quite a moment in the beauty industry. Last September, ColourPop created an entire 14-piece collection makeup junkies drooled over. Before that, Pur Cosmetics also released a 6-piece cosmetics collaboration—including a 16-shade eyeshadow palette—in August.
Glamglow's been known to tug at your heartstrings with childhood nostalgia. Previous launches include green and gold metallic masks inspired by Power Rangers and a cobalt blue Sonic the Hedgehog mask.
