A little while ago we told you about the anti-ageing dark chocolate that promises to fix your skin ageing concerns while pleasing your sweet tooth. What could be better than that? Collagen-boosting beer, that's what.

Yes, Japanese brand Suntory has launched Precious Beer, containing two grams of collagen per can, and with a questionable tag line that claims, 'Guys can tell if a girl is taking collagen or not.'

Can they, now? Well, girls can tell when Japanese beer companies are embarking on a dubious marketing campaign aimed at women, who will most likely weigh up the pros of two extra grams of collagen versus all the negatives of excess alcohol consumption, and probably not bother.

If you like beer, drink beer. I'm a wine person myself. It's good for the soul (in small doses), as is smiling, which makes my eyes crinkle a bit, but hey ho, I'd rather smile and drink wine than be hyper-aware of my facial expressions while I ingest woman beer 'for refreshing time.'
