Whenever we're feeling down or tired after a long day at work, there's nothing quite like a spritz of our signature perfume to lift our spirits and make us feel, if but for a second, like one of those fancy perfume models prancing among the flowers of a garden chateau in the South of France.

Of course, it doesn't take long before the timer on the dishwasher or the drone of a car engine outside wakes us from this dream but, it's a feeling that makes Angelina Jolie's seemingly good mood in her second fragrance advert for French brand Guerlain that bit more understandable.

Released earlier this week, the advert sees the 44-year-old peeking coyly out from a bed, swathed in luxurious sheets. Set in the tropical surroundings of Jolie's Cambodian home and directed by Oscar-winning cinematographer Emmanuel Lubezki, the latest film for Guerlain's new Mon Guerlain Intense Eau de Parfum scent sees the actress in her most alluring role yet.

Famous for her outstanding beauty as well as her acting, directing and humanitarian work, Jolie looks almost ethereal as she wanders through softly lit rooms draped only in a bed sheet along to the sultry tones of The Troggs' 'Wild thing, I think I love you'.

Revealing her vast collection of intricate tattoos, we see the mum of six smile as she shows off the Buddhist inkings on her upper back, the Arabic text on her forearm and the detailed coordinates indicating where her children were born on her upper arm.

This is Jolie's second perfume campaign for Guerlain, having starred in their previous video dubbed 'Notes of a Woman' back in 2017. At the time it was noted that the humanitarian donated all of her pay from the campaign to an undisclosed charity, thought to be the UN Refugee Agency or the Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative, of which she is a co-founder.
