Neal’s Yard has recently launched a day spa within their flagship Kings Road store, and with it comes a new look for the organic remedies brand and the perfect post-shopping pit stop.
The new look Neal’s Yard store retains hints of the traditional apothecary décor: glass jars line the back wall and blue glass bottles hang from the ceiling, moonlighting as chandeliers. But it is also modern, bright, welcoming and easy to navigate for newcomers to the brand. Downstairs is home to the new organic day spa which is refreshingly cosy, rather than clinical or minimal, with exposed brick walls and floral wallpaper giving the spa a unique Neal’s Yard twist. I’m booked in for the Palmarosa & Lavender Detoxifying Facial, £65 for 60 mins, and have a brief pre-treatment consultation where I describe my skin type and concerns. This is a thorough facial treatment that includes exfoliation, extraction and a hydrating mask, all using natural, skin nourishing Neal’s Yard products. It is a truly relaxing experience during which I drift off, then awake to beautifully glowing skin. You could say this is the best ‘beauty sleep’ I’ve ever had. There are five Signature facials to suit all skin types at Neal’s Yard, along with body treatments, waxing, men’s facials and massages too. Definitely recommended for a relaxing treat.
