A main attraction in Jersey’s biggest town St Helier, The Club Hotel sits near Jersey’s beautiful coastline and boasts an impressive Michelin star restaurant as well as its blissfully cosy spa.

Here you’ll find everything you need to wind down, from the hydro-pool to the detoxing salt room (a steam room made of salt!) and perfectly tranquil relaxation room.

The spa accommodates no more than five people at any one time. This means relaxation and peace are guaranteed. Treatments range from complete spa day packages to grooming treatments like manicures and waxing.

The Shankara Bliss (£140) is ELLE’s recommendation, a luxurious treatment that has a little bit of everything. Dry Body brushing, followed by a hot, aromatic herbal paste body wrap, face, scalp and foot massage and, once the body wrap is showered off, a deep tissue back massage. Plus, a hair oil treatment which makes this the ultimate head-to-toe treat.

Best for: Time out alone by the sea.
