Discreetly tucked away in The Shop at Bluebird on London’s King's Road, this is the only spa to offer Ole Henriksen treatments outside of LA and boasts a retail outlet that stocks an impressive and extensive range of niche beauty brands. All in all, the perfect treat for diehard beauty fans.

Everything about Bluebird makes you want to indulge whether it is the shop, restaurant or indeed the spa. Small, but perfectly formed, the spa is peaceful - you would never know you were tucked away in such a well known store- and the attention to detail is evident at every turn. We think the heated floors in particular are a nice touch.

In fact everything from the Ole Henriksen sample products to the music (no chimes, bells or whale sounds here) reflects the Bluebird’s brand of effortless chic.

The spa offers two treatment rooms - one wet, one dry - while the treatment list has a distinct LA vibe which suggests you won’t be able to find anything similar elsewhere in the UK. If you want to indulge in a little bit of everything then the Head to Toe treatment (£125) is for you. This includes a scalp massage, facial, body cleanse, exfoliation and Swedish massage along with reflexology for your hands and feet. The manicures and pedicures are also a must-try and some of the best on offer in London.

Best for: A day out with your best friend or mum.
