Nestled on the edge of Somerset village, Shepton Mallet (home of the Mulberry factory shop), Charlton House Spa (formerly Monty's Spa) is part of the eclectic and luxurious Charlton House Hotel. Tucked away in the basement of the hotel, the spa is designed to feel bohemian, relaxed and inviting – think terracotta walls and Moroccan throws and cushions. The spa has its own range of products which are used in all the treatments, most of which are made from organically grown Spelt Germ Oil which is high in Vitamin E and helps to banish free radicals. The healthy dishes served in the spa’s café also feature Spelt Oil – it’s clear that they take a holistic approach to your well being.
Once you’ve finished your treatment you can relax in the Spa’s café and sample their healthy, balanced menu. However we recommend slipping upstairs to the hotel’s luxurious sitting room and relaxing with a much-deserved afternoon tea.
