The Sen Spa is part of the Careys Manor Hotel and is open to hotel guests as well as day spa visitors. Inside you’ll find a modern, minimal and light interior with stunning views of the New Forest.
The oriental inspiration is apparent in every detail from the décleor to the silk pyjamas you’ll be given on arrival along with your robe and slippers, not to mention the thai refreshments and eastern inspired treatment menu.
The spa has all the usual amenities: swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room, along with the more unusual Rhassoul mud room, tepidarium (a room with heated loungers) and ice room to help close pores after a spell in the sauna.
The Senfusion Signature Massage (£95) includes a full body exfoliation using a lemon and Thai spice scrub, followed by a massage that combines both thai and Swedish techniques.
With its peaceful ambience and authentic treatment menu this spa is a great Thai getaway without the jet lag.
