Squinching. It's supposedly the secret to perfect photos, and much-liked selfies. I mean, one look at Aymeline Valade's career as a model and it's obvious she knew this 'secret' well before any of us.
According to New York-based photographer, Peter Hurley, the squinch involves pulling up your lower lid and bringing your upper lid slightly down into a pseudo squint. Sure, it looks a little bit like you've sucked on a lemon, but a few of us here at ELLE tried it and we're hooked. Sorry Tyra, the smize is sitting on the bench, for now.
