Attitude: it’s what a Diesel Black Gold collection is all about. According to creative head Sophia Kokosalaki, there was also the addition of vintage B movies—no doubt the catalyst for the thoroughly aggressive and dark silhouettes that featured throughout this urban collection.

No apologies necessary here. There was the baggy, menswear-inspired aesthetic; the sweater with an image of distressed woman, the moody leopard-print pieces. Textures were combined to much appeal, including a faux fur leopard coat as well as sporty drawstring pants, a halter dress with a bustier-like denim bodice and very lovely boyfriend pants in leather.

While the show was mostly cast in black, some pops of maroon broke things up. The show proceeded hard and fast down the catwalk with no apologies. If you blinked, you missed it. The same goes for the Diesel Black Gold woman.
