Hervé Léger, the King of cling, seduces with its autumn winter 2012 collection at New York fashion week.

A study in seduction and restraint, indeed. Sexy dresses that hug the body like noone’s business isn’t anything new for Max and Lubov Azria and the Hervé Léger label under their watch, but for next season the duo bravely reinvented the tried-and-true bandage dresses in a multitude of ways.

Power underscored many of the looks they sent down the catwalk; much of it was inspired by feminine strength, which was more than apparent in the equestrian-inspired harnesses and couture techniques employed (at times it even ventured into dominatrix territory). Regardless of the new ways the brand has made in an attempt to reinvent the wheel, there were still plenty of signature beaded and pleated dress offerings to keep its loyal fan base happy
