At a venue off Hyde Park Corner, we were invited to an event we never thought possible; the marriage of Coco Chanel and Sid Vicious through the eyes of Kinder Aggugini.

An odd couple but when put in the words of Kinder it almost makes sense; it “mixes gritty exposed roots with charming chic... A contradiction that lives to be beautiful.” And the pairing worked.

The Bride was evident in black woollen jackets and skirts with rough-stitched white edging, the Groom brought razored cut-out shapes to the shoulders and backs of dresses and jackets. And so the two met, a mix of refined elegance and punk edge; a gentle dip dye on an orange tailored coat, a serrated edged jersey dress. Most beautiful were the long dresses in delicate floral print with a sequin harness detail snaking across the bust.

Who knows if the marriage will go the distance, but the wedding was a riot - and Kinder certainly benefited from their union.
