The golden age of Hollywood was evoked by way of Madrid and Ava Gardner who spent time there when her marriage to Sinatra was on the rocks.

Stuart Vevers chose an equally golden era of models in Angela Lindvall, Missy Rayder, Karlona Kurkova and Caroline Trentini to show off a stately, classic collection.

Leather forms the foundation of the story with the discreet and functional two-handled Ava bag introduced, as well as toffee-coloured bandeau and halterneck dresses and a beautiful cropped leather jacket. Fur-lined trench coats, midnight blue lace and sequin shifts add texture, while details like low-V back sweaters and tuxedo jackets add elegance. It was a collection Ava would have been proud to wear.
