Ladies, it's time to embrace those curves.

With the help of a voluptuous Elle Macpherson and a cast of Victoria Secret models, the designer Marc Jacobs offered no doubt as to next season's erogenous zone.

His Louis Vuitton show was an unashamedly joyous celebration of the bosom, thrusting upwards from corseted dresses on nearly every look. The programme notes spelled it out: "And God created Woman". This was an ode to the 1950s sex kitten, vaguely Fellini inspired, sweet and sensual at the same time. Miuccia Prada first embraced the curve back in Milan, but this was a more French affair: the girls walking round the Louvre's dancing fountains, ponytails bouncing, each decorated with bows and velvet ribbon belts, carrying a variation on the classic Speedy bag. It was a seductive performance.
