If you didn't know that Marni was the first show of the day then you probably could have guessed given the number of assembled fashion insiders sporting prints of every possible type.

(ADR of course still managed to stand out in the sea of colour - she was wearing head to toe gold sequins.)

And, of course, there were prints aplenty on the catwalk too, as well as a riot of block colour. Simply shaped A-line dresses in pink, turquoise, yellow or white were worn over nude underskirts, and the same shapes appeared covered in a distantly 1970s floral print. And retro, ladylike tailored jackets with rolled collars came with fitted pencil skirts covered in metallic, flocked flowers.

Leather pencils and shifts were printed with bold, graphic circles in navy and chocolate, and other shifts, printed with subtle herringbone, were cut away at the waist at the back - so chic. And there some great mini skirts made from Perspex flowers and hemmed with metallic beads. It was classic Marni in action, and a lovely way to start a Sunday.
