Miuccia Prada never does anything expected.

Her mainline Milan show was a glorious celebration of the bust, but for Miu Miu, she turned things upside down. Almost literally, in fact.

Legs were the focus of this youthful 1960s inspired collection, which brought Paris Fashion Week to a cheery and cheeky close. Sweet rather than sexy, hemlines grazed thighs while necklines met the chin and tied with a bow. Sleeveless dresses and flippy coats were decorated with metallic flowers, while decoration also bloomed over the square-toed pumps. Leggings clung tightly beneath tunics, then exploded into bellbottom shapes at the ankle.

For evening, things became more provocative: short pinafore dresses revealing plenty of flesh. It was a brilliant conclusion to the season.
