It was high glamour at Alberta Ferretti’s Philosophy line, where beautiful metallic and PVC dresses set the tone for what was one of the designers’ most upscale collections to date.

But as modern as it was, Ferretti did not forsake youth, the centrepiece market of this line. The opening white looks set a nice tone for the rest of the looks; a crisp white suit cinched at the waist that would look at home on Wall Street or Seventh Avenue. The outerwear reigned supreme here, including a tailored camel coat with an ombré effect at the torso (the metallic sheen on the underside of the collars was also a nice touch). There was a pronounced emphasis on the torso, with cinched and belted waists on many of the looks.
