It's Beckham's fifth season as a fashion heavyweight, showing in New York "because it's my home and they've been very good to me here".
The lure of her intimate salon-style presentation in which she greets each guest and narrates every look is as appealing as the clothes on show. Victoria may have started her career with some questionable fashion choices (who hasn't?), but for the past few years she has a discovered a succinct personal style that she's translated in to a successful and admired fashion business - retailing at 22 stockists worldwide and selling $7million a year. Victoria looks fantastic; elegant, poised, comfortable, which is exactly the silhouette these 26 dresses create.
"I looked at the neat shapes of sculptures and works by Brancusi, with a feel from the 60s" she said. Parachute silk, crepe and cotton waffle dresses were shown in mouth-watering shades of nude, mandarin, blush, silver and deep purple. Victoria has moved away from corsetry (with one exception) but the perfect, form-flattering fit is still the end game. This season it was achieved by hidden panels and ties "so that the dresses fit to you perfectly". Athletic-shaped shoulders, cinched waists, thigh-skimming skirts, hidden panelling... with so many 'wow' dresses plus the Spanx-like design, the audience was longing to try them on for size.
And because we've already seen VB's denim and sunglasses lines, it was only a matter of time before she progressed to creating her other style staple; the boxy handbag. Enlisting the help of Katie Hillier, "she's got the expertise but I knew what I wanted", the Victoria bag is her key shape. Like her favourite heard of Hermes Kelly's it is stripped of detail and in lizard and nubuck. There's a gigantic version too that we're sure to see in those many airport paparazzi shots, "I needed to do a travel bag. I had to put in a bag that David could use. You can fit everything in - your tracksuit, everything".
So there you have it; Victoria Beckham does change in to cosies on board flights and she's produced another stunning collection of dresses.
