This evening was business as usual at Vivienne Westwood Red Label.

A scrum to get in to the venue as die-hard fans scrambled to get a glimpse of the latest collection, followed by a room full to bursting with dedicated followers; a model line-up featuring London’s bright young things, this season starring Daisy Lowe, Pixie Geldof and model-du-jour Eliza Cummings who all turned the attitude up to 11; and, of course the clothes. Vivienne’s signature style of British classic-meets-punk has long been cemented but still manages to look fresh, and while spring’s cycling shorts may only catch on with the most hardcore fashion fans, there were plenty of wearable pieces to choose from too. Beautifully draped summer dresses, boyish tailored shorts and chic sharp trouser suits all featured, but it was the slouchy tailored trousers that really caught our eye, in silks and striped cottons – perfect summer fare. And particularly worthy of note was the pair that were draped so much in the front that Daisy Lowe was able to carry a small dog in them. Only at Vivienne Westwood.
