His collections, and big-budget catwalk productions for Louis Vuitton, have been perfectly pleasurable for the past two seasons. Where his eponymous label is concerned, well he has been giving that equal doses of love and attention too, with Marc Jacobs pioneering spring 12's penchant for everything plastic and fantastic.
This great run further fuelled speculation that Jacobs might take the top job at Dior, but the designer recently put the rumours to bed, saying he is flattered, but has too much left to do at Louis Vuitton.
As the Winner of the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award at the CDFA's last year, we get the feeling Jacobs has plenty left in him yet...
