catwalk S/S 2010
the designers
It's sometimes hard to believe that Burberry ever existed without Christopher Bailey, but in fact the designer took the helm in May 2001. Yorkshire born and bred, Bailey started his career as a window dresser for M&S and worked for Donna Karan and Gucci. But nowadays, of course, he is Burberry. In a few short years he has transformed the label from an overlooked heritage brand best known for its signature checks, into a much-coveted fashion house renowned for cool, modern pieces.
