Hot on the heels of her older sister Poppy , Cara has been modelling since the age of 8 when she was shot for Italian Vogue by world-class photographer Bruce Weber. Since then, the goddaughter of Joan Collins has been signed by Storm, appeared in the youth issue of Love magazine and most recently reached the final casting for Tim Burton’s new Alice in Wonderland film. With her glacier blue eyes and sharp cheekbones, Cara is one girl set to go far.

For a model, discovery by agent is one thing, but discovery by designer is even better. Three years ago while walking to school in Paris , Aminata caught the attention of Alber Elbaz . Months later she debuted in Lanvin’s spring show and has gone on to walk in Jean Paul Gaultier’s couture show as well as Proenza Schouler , Fendi and Ralph Lauren - no easy feat for a newbie. With appearances in Glamour and Harper’s Bazaar, this is only the beginning for this rising star.

Imogen has seriously wowed us in the last year. Since landing the Japanese cover edition of Dazed & Confused without even setting foot on a catwalk, the 17-year-old Londoner has walked in fashion’s most coveted shows, including Burberry Prorsum , Prada , Marc Jacobs , Phillip Lim and Alexander McQueen . Although her aspirations may be to become an actress, Imogen has already scored the superlative campaigns of D&G , Miu Miu (alongside Katie Holmes ), and Topshop. We can’t wait to see more from her.

This year is Bara Holotova’s break-out year. After her first two years struggling to make a name for herself in smaller fashion scenes like Tokyo and Barcelona, Miuccia Prada personally handpicked the Czech model as an exclusive for the 2009 Prada and Miu Miu shows. With that kind of approval, she has casting directors and stylists fighting over her and she has appeared on the pages of W and Dazed & Confused.
