This Canadian model was the talk of the fashion pack back in February when she was picked to open the show at Givenchy, placing herself firmly on the rising star list. She has since landed her first cover for Australian Vogue – and she’s slated to be one of the most-coveted models at the international collections this season.

Karolin has seriously wowed this year. She appeared on a dazzling array of catwalks back in February, including Alexander Wang, Marc Jacobs, Jil Sander, Dries van Noten, Lanvin, Valentino, and Yves Saint Laurent. Since then casting directors have been fighting over her. She’s already been recruited as the face of both Gianfranco Ferre and Missoni, a well as racking up an impressive collection of editorial appearances.

A regular on the New York party circuit, this ballerina-turned-model is the great-granddaughter of Ernest Hemmingway. She was the star of the film documenting Halston’s a/w 09 collection and in February was given Ricardo Tisci’s seal of approval when she was signed up to walk exclusively at the Givenchy show. This season we hear whispers that she has already been booked by Calvin Klein, and others are sure to follow.

Hannah is one of the newest models on the block. She only made her catwalk debut at the couture collections in June, but her all American good looks - blond hair, blue eyes and perfect pout have secured her a much-coveted spot modeling for Miu Miu’s a/w collection - fast work!

Touted as the new Agyness Deyn, Eliza Cummins has already hit the headlines with two controversial covers – she kissed Daisy Lowe for W magazine and was pictured topless with boyfriend Ash Stymest for the cover of Dazed & Confused. Her androgynous looks and short, spiky hair also landed her a host of catwalk slots in her debut season in February. She was snapped up by Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood, Giles, Loewe and Todd Lyn to name but a few. She’s sure to be a household name before long.

Tao’s look is so cool that she inspired a whole catwalk show. In February Philip Lim sent all the models down his catwalk sporting black bowl-cut wigs in the style of the Japanese model – who, of course, opened the show. She also appeared on an impressive 45 other runways, and is expected to be a regular feature at the shows this season.
