Sarah Jessica Parker has put her New York home on the market - for a cool $22m, since you ask - which means one important thing: we get to take a look inside her walk-in wardrobe (henceforth 'closet', because we just can't help ourselves), below.

We couldn't help but wonder... How does it compare to Carrie Bradshaw's? Not the one that sold her the apartment she bought with Big, you understand, but the one we salivated over during the Sex and the City: the TV series years.

We've noted 4 key differences:

1. While both closets boast wood flooring, apparently SJP is no fan of the ratty-looking vintage rug that took up most of the square-footage of Carrie's.

2. Carrie's closet is set up like a short corridor that opens at both ends - one door into the bathroom, one into her bedroom. SJP's is not.

3. Carrie's closet famously looked like an Aladdin's cave, with skirts, bags, dresses and shirts all crammed together in disorder. SJP's closet is neatly organised by item and - shock, horror - you can actually see the clothes rails between the hangers.

4. Conversely, you could never see the shoes in Carrie's closet - space dictated they were stuffed away in boxes. SJP has her dream shoe rack in real life.

But the real question surely is: has SJP ever used her real-life closet to do THIS?
