I've hit the ground running today with what could be my favourite show of London Fashion Week and it's the first beauty look I've seen! Make-up artist Georgina Graham and hairstylist Adam Reed were given Ryan McGinley cave photographs (see them here) and the 2012 end of world predictions as inspiration for the Felder Felder show.

Georgina took the wealth of 'blonde' fabrics throughout the collection as inspiration too, creating a tonal 'nude' face that nods to Kate Moss in her Johnny Depp days, 'this feels like a rock 'n' roll post apocalypse!' she told me.

Mac's new Pressed Pigment in Day Gleam (not out yet, but top of my wishlist) added a beautiful sheen to eyelids, while French Nougat lip colour is Georgina's 'perfect nude'. She recommends patting lipstick on with fingers rather than worrying about lip pencils and brushes. 'We're emancipating our make-up bags! This looks is so easy it can be done in 10 minutes'.

Adam Reed used Sebastian Trilliant, £15.49 (Beauty Bay) to give hair a mussed up texture, before spritzing large sections with Sebastian Shaper Zero Gravity spray, £11.79 (Beauty Bay) and winding loosely around a Babyliss wand before gently moving the wand up and down the hair shaft. Dubbed 'The Kick' this technique gives hair texture, 'it's definitely not a curl, it's not even massively a wave. It's romantic and gives hair movement, a soft lift like Kate Moss's hair in the 90s'.

Love.
