Elizabeth Olsen has a cool, easy-going New York vibe about her that means her make-up is never try-hard but she always looks stunning. Just the kind of beauty style we love.

On Monday night Lancome UK Make-up Artist Ambassador Alex Babsky worked his magic to recreate a bit of her New York signature style in London.

‘After prepping Lizzie's skin with Lancome Hydra Zen Neurocalm Extreme, I applied the tiniest amount of Teint Idole Ultra foundation in shade 007 just to the areas Lizzie needed it - around the nose and a little on the chin. I then added some lightness around the eyes with illuminating concealer - Teint Miracle pen in 02 before setting everything with loose powder’ Babsky told ELLE.

A simple smoky eye was the order of the night for Olsen, ‘I lined Lizzie's lower waterline with Lancome Le Crayon Kohl in black and ran a thick band of it along her upper lashline, which I smudged out.

Using a soft, fluffy brush, I applied a halo of shimmery pewter from the Hypnôse Palette in shade DR2 (launching April this year) all the way around Lizzie's eyes and applied a couple of coats of Hypnôse Doll Eyes mascara’.

A little contouring gave Olsen’s cheeks structure – Babsky used Lancome Star Bronzer matte before added in a pop of colour with Lancome Blush Subtil in Rose Sable.

‘We skipped lipliner in favour of just a sheer wash of L'Absolu Nu in 302 on the lips’ added Babsky.
