One of team ELLE’s favourite make-up artists Andrew Gallimore, Dior UK Make-up Ambassador, created Naomie Harris’s look for the ELLE Style Awards on Monday night.

To contrast with Harris’ bold Roksanda Ilincic dress, Gallimore created a look that was ‘soft, fresh and flawless’.

‘This make-up look has no hard lines - it enhances Naomi’s natural beauty with subtle shading and highlighting in a complementary palette of tones and textures’.

A top make-up artist tip, Gallimore revealed he always starts a with the eyes, this prevents any eyeshadow falling onto your perfect base.

Three products were used on the eyes - Dior Waterproof Eye Pencil in Intense Brown along the lash line which was smudged, followed by Mono Eyeshadow in Camouflage to give a ‘three dimensional quality over the eyes’. The bronzy gold shade from the 5 Couleur Palette in Endless Shine added subtle highlight, while Gallimore blended the darker brown shade on the outer corner for definition.

To ensure Harris’s eyes looked lifted and bright, rather than too made up Diorshow Waterproof Mascara was applied to the upper lashes only.

Gallimore then applied the base a mix of Diorskin Nude Glowing Foundation in 050 and 060 applied with a foundation brush and then buffed into the skin with a Dior buffing brush which he reveals gives the complexion a ‘sheer and flawless finish’.

A mix of Dior Sugar and Spice Powder Blush was used to contour. ‘I swept it from the apple of the cheek up and under the cheekbone to create more contour than blush and finished with a whisper light stroke of Diorskin Nude Shimmer Powder on the very tops of cheekbones for a subtle highlight’.

Gallimore finished the look with Dior Lip Pencil in Brown Fig all over and and a generous amount of Dior Addict Gloss in 783 over the lips ‘for a healthy finish’.

All make-up by Dior.

Onto the hair and Ty Agius, Stylist at Rossano Ferretti created ‘a sleek shiny asymmetric style with a bit of movement to show off her thick glossy hair’.Here’s how to get the look:

‘Wash and blow-dry 80 percent of the hair. Next, apply Shu Uemura Art of Hair Satin Design through the lengths and ends.

‘Take five sections – the crown, middle section, nape and either side of the ear. Starting from the nape and the back, smooth it out with a round brush, nozzle of the dryer pointing down (drying off the lengths with a round brush will create shine), then pin curl each section.

‘Let the hair cool for 10-15 minutes, then unpin and brush out the curls loosely creating volume at the crown and movement towards the ends.

‘Once your hair is brushed out and bouncy, sweep the hair around the side and pin securely at the nape of the neck at one side, underneath the top section, allowing the hair above to fall covering the grips.

‘Spray with setting finishing spray like Organic Head Extra Hold Hair Spray'.
