We wonder whether Samantha Barks took inspiration from Angelina Jolie's BAFTAs outfit? The actress arrived at the ELLE Style Awards in a suit just as Jolie had two nights before. Rather than embracing the androgynous look the star opted for a pretty ponytail. We called on Fiona Haywood, Senior Stylist at Charles Worthington, who created Barks' hairstyle to give us the lowdown on how to get the look at home:
Start by blow drying your hair with Charles Worthington Volume & Bounce 3D Boosting Creme, to give the hair movement and bounce.
Use a large barrel tong and curl all of your hair, section by section, brush out and spray with strong hold hair spray.
Lightly back comb your hair around the front of the face and the top of the head, using a backcombing brush. Using your fingers, mould and pull back the hair.
Pin the top and sides of your hair at the back of your head.
Pull the rest of your hair into a ponytail and cover the hairband with some of your hair from the ponytail – secure with a grip.
Using Charles Worthington texturing powder dust the ponytail to create a big and bouncy look but still leaving the ends slightly curled.
