Tinie Tempah has won the UK Recording Artist: Male award at the ELLE Style Awards 2014.
Ellie Goulding was on-hand to present the rapper with his award tonight.
ELLE featured Tempah in the December issue last year and it was then we realised just how big his love for fashion is (a man after our own hearts). Speaking about his wardrobe, he told ELLE, ‘There’s a lot of space, but [my clothes addiction] it’s still ridiculous,’ he says. ‘My excuse is that I do a lot of performances, so I need new clothes. It’s part of the job, mate! That said, I still find myself in a shop thinking, “I can’t believe I’m buying another one of these”.’
Tempah is often spotted on the front row of the menswear shows, he’s on the British Fashion Council Menswear Committee alongside David Gandy, ‘I’m really proud. And I get to dress up super fancy’.
Tempah, who is 25, released his first album Disc-Overy back in 2010 where it debuted at number one. He released his second album, Demonstration, last November.
