Sheer black stockings, glossy red lips, just a glimpse of lingerie… Chic and cheeky, the City Of Light inspired some of the season’s best collections. More specifically, the Paris fashion muses of the 80s – Lou Lou de la Falaise and Ines de la Fressange – inspired everyone from Balenciaga to Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu to Lacroix. Coquettish, frivolous and strictly after-dark, the look is all about OTT glamour: lots of lace and ruffles and bows and frills and silks and satins. It manages to stay on the sophisticated side of sexy, though. Just. Ooh la la indeed.
