YOU SEXY PUNK
Black leather, slashed latex, skin-tight PVC, zips, studs and spikes. Sexuality gets subversive and aggressive this season as designers take influences from punk, but give it a dangerously glamorous edge.
Alexander McQueen got angry, his models walking round a burned out pyre of past season props, the clothes a ferocious fantasy accessorised with exaggerated red lips.
Givenchy and YSL found edgy, Parisian sex appeal with fitted leathers, while Hussein Chalayan and Richard Nicoll both explored bondage detailing. There were thigh-high boots everywhere and elbow length, leather gloves, sprayed on leggings and laddered knits. Another trend that the high street will have fun with this autumn.
